Final Conference Announcement & Call for Papers february 2010

Date and location for final ESF6 CIA event announced, Call for Papers opened

After a fruitful exchange of good practices on the management of demographic chance, Action Plans for eight European regions participating in the ESF6 CIA project outline how transferred approaches can be integrated in the regular structural funds programmes or how they can be financed from other sources. After a lifetime of two years, the project’s lifetime comes to an end in June 2010.

On the afternoon of 2 June and on 3 June 2010 (full day), the project process and some of the transferred good practices will be presented by the project partners and further actions to cushion the impacts of demographic change on the employment market will be debated. The conference will be hosted in Pécs, the European Capital of Culture 2010 (please visit www.pecs2010.hu).

If you wish to participate in the conference with a presentation, please send a short abstract (maximum 1 page) by 28 February 2010 to trepte@aufbauwerk-leipzig.com. Chosen speakers will be informed in early March when the agenda of the conference is finalised.
